James Gomez graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania in 2020. He joined Edmond Pereira Law Corporation that same year and was called to the Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2022. In addition, Gomez is well-versed in regulatory proceedings, having handled disciplinary matters involving the Singapore Medical Council and the Law Society of Singapore. His expertise also extends to Cross-Border Advisory, where he advises on foreign offences in relation agencies such as Interpol and provides strategic counsel on matters of International Law for foreign clients.

He regularly advises businesses and individuals on strategic, regulatory, and cross-border matters, with particular experience in the automotive sector. He heads the firm's automotive practice and his work includes advising on hire purchase structures, reviewing financing arrangements, and providing strategic guidance to automotive businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions.

Gomez has also acted in automotive-related disputes, including claims involving warranty breaches, misrepresentation, “lemon law” issues, vehicle condition disputes, and mileage discrepancies.
