Chui Ling graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2017. While a student, Chui Ling was a recipient of the prestigious NUS Sports Scholarship. As an avid track and field athlete, Chui Ling still continues to represent Singapore at Major Games around the world.
Chui Ling completed her Practice Training with the firm in 2016 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2017. Chui Ling has been closely trained and mentored by Mr. Edmond Pereira.
Chui Ling has been involved in criminal cases, involving corruption, cheating, and even breach of international sanctions. Notably, Chui Ling assisted Mr. Edmond Pereira as he went before a three-judge High Court panel in 2017, which overturned the State Court’s decision in a high-profile criminal case involving the breach of sanctions under the United Nations (Sanctions – Democratic Republic of Korea) Regulations 2010.
Chui Ling has advised and represented both individual and corporate clients in a broad range of contentious matters, including shareholder and director conflicts, regulatory compliance, and construction disputes.
Under the mentorship of Mr. Edmond Pereira, Chui Ling has had first-hand experience in cross-examination and oral submissions in Open Court.
